Abigail’s Peanut Chicken

Just before our very special neighbours moved to a far away country. They asked us to adopt a very special chicken.  Peanut.

She came to us looking scraggly and she hasn’t changed a bit. She is very happy and seemingly very healthy. But because she is real tiny (Bantam Hen) and also looks frail, Abi has adopted her. She feels the need to cuddle her and feed her daily as she is worried about her.

So one of Abi’s special drawings was her version of Peanut. She asked me to make a toy Peanut just like her drawing. It was real hard not to put my image of the real Peanut into Abi’s drawing. But I resisted and managed to copy her drawing almost exactly.

I am sure this toy will be treasured and loved as only Abigail can.

The three headed alien has landed.

Here he is. All safe and happy to have landed on earth.

Looking forward now, to showing him to Jacob. I am sure he would love playing with his own alien and swopping the heads around.

Three headed alien on the way to earth.

My  aim is to always get toys out within 2 weeks, as this is a short enough time for the kids to anticipate the outcome. After 2 weeks time,  it just becomes to long for them to stay excited.

So I started on Jacob’s Three headed, three eyed Alien and it was real wonderful, everything just fell into place. BUT… there is loads of little lines and things to add and it is taking a bit longer than I thought.

Unfortunately both Andrew’s Dad and my Mom has had Hospital visits this weekend. And with the added bit of a rough weekend on the family side, my mind  just did not want to focus on work. Thankfully, with lots of prayer and positive vibes, it looks like things are already starting to look up!

So I am behind my schedule – Hectically ! But to be fair it was not just the weekend’s happenings that caused this delay, … hmmmm

So I thought, I will post a small preview and give you a glimpse of Jacob’s three headed alien.

The rest of him to be posted before the end of today, if all goes according to plan.
